How goes it? My name is Chance! I’m currently a Veterinarian Assistant, with the goal of going to school to become a CVT. I’m a native to South West Florida, having been born right down the road in Port Charlotte. However, I spent my teenage years living in rural farmland in the absolute middle of nowhere Georgia. For 14 years, my first dog, Misty, was my best friend. She was the one I turned to when I was sad, scared or just needed a hug. Even at that young age, I understood the connections that people have with their pets. So, it was no surprise that I already knew that I wanted to be in veterinary medicine. I am forever grateful to have achieved my lifelong dream and honored by the trust placed in me, not only by the pets and clients here at Heron Creek, but also by the people that brought me into this field. I treasure the long-term relationships that I get to develop with patients, as well as all the learning opportunities I receive daily by working with absolutely incredible doctors and technicians that I now call family. What better way to spend your life than doing something you love with people who all feel the same way! When I’m not here at the hospital, I’m normally at home tending to my own pets, particularly my Catahoula Leopard Dog, Goose, and my Australian Cattle Dog, Cricket. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you, and more importantly, getting to love on your pets!
